Egyptian Style: The bib necklace

Everyone loves the bib! Here’s the history behind it and some options for your closet.

These pieces are highly influenced by the Egyptain style, dating back to 3100 B.C. and although they are vintage in origin, the creative aesthetic falls nothing short of contemporary fabulous. The bib is a combination of layered jewels, strung across the collar bone of the neck. The baubles seem dainty when separated one by one, but together are a mass of strength and power.
